this week i started up a proposal, and in this proposal i had wrote about the topic that I was doing. this is my example of the S,W., who am going to interview?, what topic am going to do? why did i choose it?, when am i going to undertake research about it?, how am I going to get information about it?

this week i had posted my proposal on my wikipage it is all about dancing mostly it's about all the genres in hiphop
My proposal to research project My topic is about hip-hop dance and where it came from. I’m going to make a video and this video will be about me and am going to teach some students from this school to do the jerk and popping this are the two genres of hip-hop that I relate to so it will be easy for me teach any one even the elderly . So far I have found out that hip-hop dance came from Africa in 1789 and was brought to America and it was known as street dancing and now it is well known around the world and also completions are involved.in hip-hop there is many genres known as terfing, jerking, breakdance, wave, popping etc. I will also research further in to my topic, I will get my information from interviews, the internet, and books. I can also ask my friends why they do this type of dance and how it relates to them.
Many people don’t know how hip-hop works but in this video am going to show them that there is more than just how good someone does their dance but how did they and why. Well some people just find some style of hip-hop dance hard so the choose something that can suit them and also how to be able to make such art. In my own observation hip-hop is something that brings peace with in me for some other people it’s different to some it’s their whole life what I mean by that is that for a lot of dancers it’s what they want to do every day practicing and getting every genre wright and never losing the spirit. As a dancer I know what is easy and what’s not but I have seen some people forcing themselves to do something that is hard but still get it in just a week but that does not mean their good it means they need to practice harder to get to point when they feel like they have done something to be proud of. My genre of dance is krumping and popping these two hip-hop moves I am good at like anyone else it would be hard for me to start learning anything. I chose this topic because it would be easy for me to do something I like than doing something I don’t like and failing my research project.
I am going to try and get a video camera from the school for my topic. This video is going to be like a clip showing you how to jerk and if you still don’t think my video was helpful then you will be advised to go on YouTube and type up teach me how to jerk there is many videos that can teach you more than I can. First we will begin with the reject and put in the Dougie, The Dougie is like the jerk but more movements using your hands and the jerk is more energetic movement. Week 5:
Ms Woud the english teacher came into the class and talked to us about Zoomerang and Survey Monkey and how to use them to get survey responses. Zoomerang is a website that you can do serveys on it is a better way to do serveys because you don't have to print or waist any papers and also people don't find it as boring as it would be on paper. Through this research, I hope to increase my understanding and knowledge of the language and culture of hip-hop music and young people today. I plan to present my project through powerpoint. I hope to develop
my skills in delivering my best through a presentation. I want to research why rappers or hip hop artists write the lyrics they write, as a form of communication. Hip hop is used as a way of expressing struggles
about a person's life, mostly through African American people living in ghettos. I hope by researching how hip hop has changed over the last 40 years, that I can look at the lyrics used as a form of communication.
The research project should help my improve my literacy skills because I need to improve my written skills. I might learn some skills by completing this research that will help me in the future.
I have a strong opinion about hip hop music and dance. I want to look at the different styles of music, fashion, lyrics and dance styles that were used in hip hop. I imagine that this would help me develop a
different perspective on the history of hip hop.
For my personal development, my creative ability will be shown in my powerpoint presentation. I plan to use my own creativity by using my own photos of dance styles in the powerpoint presentation.
I would also like to use my initiative by teaching others how hip hop has changed by using videos from youtube and by using a timeline to show how hip hop has changed over the last 30-40 years.
